THE Penang Cultural Fest (PCF) aims to keep George Town vibrant through an annual city-based celebration.

The PCF comprises a visual arts exhibition, a Korean traditional orchestra performance, a food hunt and food fest, an international jazz festival, a night celebrating local music and a street market.

All will take place in various locations across George Town’s historic core from Dec 4 to Dec 8.

“The inaugural PCF will be launch-ed by Penang Governor Datuk Seri Utama Abdul Rahman Abbas at the E&O Hotel.

The E&O will also be celebrating their heritage with the publication of the ‘E&O: Pearl of Penang’ coffee table book on Dec 4. The Penang State Museum & Art Gallery, the Penang Watercolour Association and Trafalgar Publishing House are all contributing towards a visual arts exhibition at the E&O hotel from Dec 4 to Dec 8.

As a treat to the people of Penang, the Korea Tourism Organisation and Star Publications will be staging a concert by the Goguryo Traditional Orchestra at Dewan Sri Pinang on Dec 4.
