KOREAN monk Rev Won Sung, dubbed Buddhist World's Little Prince, has turned the daily ritual of young monks into paintings.
His paintings depicting the life of young monks going about their daily chores in the monastery including playing and reading are exhibited at the Metro Fine Art in the Legend Hotel between 11am and 7pm until Aug 19.
The Flower Rain art exhibition showcases a collection of 70 paintings by Rev Won. This is the second time Rev Won has exhibited in Malaysia. The first exhibition was in 2004.

The exhibition was opened by Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Wendy Ong, at the hotel last Saturday.
Rev Won, in his speech, said painting was like a part of his soul and it represented the good memories of his life.
"Malaysia is a beautiful country where nice people live in harmony and I am honoured to be here again," said Rev Won, who had held exhibitions in other cities such as Seoul, New York City, Milan, Tokyo, Taiwan, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brussels.
