GAMUDA Land officially unveiled the sales gallery of its latest township, twentyfive.7, to an excited crowd who gathered at the opening ceremony.
A host of activities and delectable food were prepared for the visitors and their children at the gallery at Gamuda Walk, Kota Kemuning.
The children enjoyed themselves with face-painting, virtual reality games and photo booth, as well as paper origami activities.
Located in the mature neighbourhood of Kota Kemuning, twentyfive.7 is an avant-garde township focusing on community interaction.
“The masterplan of twentyfive.7 harmoniously brings the key elements together – the architecture, where the parks sit within the neighbourhood, how the streets are laid out to allow residents to walk or cycle from their homes to the town square, and how the waterfront anchors the entire development.
“When all of these come together, the development takes on its own personality so that when residents live there, they feel a strong sense of belonging.
“And at twentyfive.7, it’s about a vibrant community in a lively town by the waterfront,” said Gamuda Land chief operating officer Ngan Chee Meng.
“For the town to work well, we need to get the important places right – the play place, the work place, the park place, the shopping place, the dining place and the home place.
“After much thoughtful consideration, we know that these places should be by the water. So we have the Quayside,” he added.
The Quayside, a vibrant commercial hub by the waterfront of the central lake, houses a promenade with retail and dining outlets, boutiques, a marketplace, a Designer District for young designers and startups as well as an Event Plaza for different types of performances.
These, together with the boardwalk, a cantilevered Skydeck over the lake as well as a running and jogging track, make a nice setting at the waterfront, creating a sense of place and joy for the community.
The design and planning of the residential neighbourhoods in twentyfive.7 promote connectivity and community interaction so that everyone will know their neighbours.
The neighbourhood parks and customised playgrounds, the linear park in the back lanes of the homes and the walkability from the front door of the homes to the waterfront all serve to allow residents to connect with one another, with nature and more importantly, with themselves.
Another key component of twentyfive.7 is the Designer Homes that break away from conventional home designs and layout.
