MALAYSIA’S participation at the 13th China-Asean Expo (CAEXPO) on Sept 11 to 14 was intended to deepen bilateral relationship with China and other Asean states through trade, investment, cultural exchanges, exhibition as well as conferences.

The key focus this year was to further leverage on China-Asean Free Trade Agreement (Cafta), the promotion of Malaysia’s exports, attracting investment from China, pushing Malaysia’s tourism industry and branding Malaysia as a dynamic, business-friendly country.
