IT WILL be an exciting year ahead for Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) as it has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (Angkasa), the apex body for cooperative organisations.

The partnership is aimed at encouraging export among the country’s cooperatives, boosting performance of cooperatives in the domestic and international markets. Angkasa president Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah believes the collaboration will also contribute to the country’s economic growth.
