Shaun tops inaugural pundits’ challenge

Shaun Orange emerged with the top honours from the inaugural MetroSport Forecast Challenge, an appendage of the weekly FootNotes column that focuses almost exclusively on the English Premier League.

In the season just-ended MetroSport’s Shaun, Randeep Singh and Pamella Lim pit their forecast expertise against each other and a guest to predict the outcome of matches. The points were tabulated on a system that awarded the exact scoreline with 40 and 10 points for a correct result (win, loss or draw).
