German star bolsters inaugural table tennis league


Dima will be taking part in the inaugural T2APAC in Singapore this June.

THE inaugural T2 Asia-Pacific Table Tennis League (T2APAC) continues to attract the best international players with the announcement that World No 6 Dimitrij Ovtcharov (aka “Dima”) of Germany will be competing in the league tournament, commencing this June.

The Ukrainian-born German recently helped his Russian club Fakel Orenburg reach the Men’s Champions League final ealier this month with teammates Vladimir Samsonov (Belarus) and Jun Mizutani (Japan), who are also taking part in the T2APAC as the men’s World No 4 and No 8 respectively.
