THE Victoria Institution (VI) alumni proved they still have the “extra oomph” after winning the VI Daniel Shield for the third consecutive year by beating the present boys in a closely contested five games of football, rugby, water polo, basketball and table tennis, held at the school, recently.

The Daniel Shield, organised by the Victoria Institution Old Boys Association (VIOBA), is an annual event between the present and old Victorians to foster a common bond between the current schoolboys and their seniors through sports.
