MELAKA: The Sehati Sejiwa Jom Plogging programme in Melaka organised by a group of Masters of Business Administration students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia drew 500 participants.

The event, held in conjunction with World Environment Day, was launched by state housing, local government and envi­ronment committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew at the Melaka Botanical Garden.Tey said the concept of “plogging” (picking up rubbish while jogging), which originated from Sweden, was introduced to keep the environment clean and people healthy.
