THE state government is in the midst of discussions with the Finance Ministry on the list of tax-free items to be sold on Pangkor Island, which is to be gazetted as a duty-free island soon.
Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said Pangkor must continue to be a family-friendly tourist spot after the declaration of the island as duty free.
