Working to get Unesco status for Chingay parade

The Johor government will meet with the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry to push for the recognition of Chingay parade as a Unesco World Heritage.

State Women Development and Tourism Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung said a request had been sent to Unesco in 2012 by the Johor Ancient Temple.
