TEMERLOH: Pahang has recorded a drop in HIV infection cases by 70.5%, with only 165 cases reported this year compared to 655 cases in 2002.
State Health director Datuk Dr Sha’ari Ngadiman said currently, the state had recorded a total of 11,339 HIV patients since it was first detected in 1989.
