Selayang council's Red Beret out to combat illegal dumping


Parama-sivam says he only reports to the MPS president and its deputy president.

LAWBREAKERS will find it more challenging to dump construction waste or domestic rubbish, thanks to efforts of the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) Red Beret task force.

 The team, formed to deal with indiscriminate dumping in the municipality, employs strategies like stake-outs, dressing in plain clothes and travelling in unmarked cars to nab offenders.
