LABIS: Traders allocated lots at Deepavali bazaars found subletting them to foreigners or who “auction” their space for a higher price will be blacklisted and barred from participating in future, said Johor Consumerism, Human Resources and Unity Committee chairman Dr S.Ramakrishnan.

He also warned thugs and trouble-makers to stay away from the bazaars and hoped the police would take swift action to curb gangsterism or nab those trying to collect protection money from traders.
