MELAKA: The state government will monitor the irresponsible dumping of waste and take measures to overcome it as it was clogging the drainage system and causing problems, including marring the state’s image as a tourism destination, said Chief Minister Adly Zahari.

He said his department had received complaints about clogged drains and ditches, disruption to the water supply system and flash floods in some areas in the state due to irresponsible waste disposal.
