Big jump in number of HFMD cases in Sibu

SIBU: Incidences of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) are on the rise in the Sibu division with 73 cases reported from July 8 to Aug 11 this year, compared to just 29 cases over the corresponding period in 2017.

A statement from the state Health Department yesterday said the figure represented an increase of 151.7%.
