PIETY CELEBRATION
Sian Chye Tong Temple’s Youth Section is holding a filial piety celebration in memory of departed ancestors at its premises at 395, Hye Keat Estate, Ayer Itam from now to Sept 1. There will be daily offerings of vegetarian food, fruits, flowers and chanting of prayers. A day-long special prayer session will be conducted by monks and placing of paper tablets in the ‘Say Hong Chun’ (paper ship) before they are burnt on Sept 1.
