NIOSH to offer new programme from this year


KOTA KINABALU: The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is offering a programme on ‘Safety and Health Officers for Higher Education Institutions (SHO for IPT)’ starting this year.

NIOSH chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye told Bernama the programme is for students pursuing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) so they could obtain a Certificate of Professional Competence while in instutions of higher learning.
