SIBU: Come end of this month, the town can expect a bountiful supply of maize at the markets as it will be the peak season for the crop in Sungai Petanak, Pulau Bruit, about three hours journey from here.
Villager Jemail Bedihi said the crop had started flowering in time for it to be harvested by end of the month.
