SIBU: The state Government, through the Resident’s Office, has been urged to provide monthly allowances to three longhouse chiefs in Kanowit and to recognise another as the headman of his longhouse.

Kanowit PKR chairman Thomas Laja (pic) said the State Government must be seen to be impartial in treating longhouse chiefs and not victimise them due to any political differences.
