Vigil for animal welfare held in Ipoh park

Malaysia Animals Welfare group members held a candlelight vigil at the park to spread awareness of animal cruelty in China.

The week-long Yulin Dog Meat Festival, being held for the ninth year, is now taking place in China despite protests from animal activists and dog lovers from around the world.

In Ipoh, a candlelight vigil organised by animal-welfare organisations Mutts & Mittens and Noah’s Ark Ipoh (NAI) was held at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park.
