JOHOR BARU: Local business owners are anticipating an increase in sales as consumers take advantage of the zero-rated Goods and Services Tax (GST) period.

TCM Acupuncture Centre and grocery shop owner Lay Swee Siang, 53, said he expected his businesses to see a healthy boost in the next few weeks as customers would have more purchasing power with the 0% GST implementation.
