Terengganu reports 50% drop in dengue cases

KUALA TERENGGANU: There is a significant drop in the number of dengue cases in the state but health workers are not about to rest on their laurels as they expect an increase during the festive season.

Terengganu Health Department director Dr Mohammad Omar said up to May, the state had seen a reduction by almost 50% of the mosquito-borne disease from 134 cases in the same period last year to 68 this year.
