PASIR MAS: Akok Risda, a type of akok (a popular Kelantanese delicacy) produced by a family here for the past 21 years, is in hot demand among Muslims for breaking fast during Ramadan.
Norlidawatie Kamaruzaman, 27, who sells the delicacy made of flour, eggs, sugar and coconut milk, said it came to be known as akok Risda because the shop was adjacent to the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (Risda) office in Pasir Mas.
