Market in Mersing offers discounts on essential goods during Ramadan

The community and caravan market in Jalan Dato Onn where consumers can enjoy up to 20 discounts on goods throughout Ramadan.

MERSING: Consumers can look forward to cheaper essential goods every Friday during Ramadan at the Community and Caravan Market (Pakar) in Jalan Dato Onn here. 

Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (Fama) Mersing officer Arbain Awang said there would be discounts between 5% and 20% on selected items such as vegetables that are sourced directly from farmers involved in the contract farming programme, instead of the middlemen.
