Going bald to raise funds for children’s cancer society

SIBU: A “go bald” campaign organised by Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) has raised a total of RM16,500 for Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS).

Twenty-seven staff and family members of the council shaved their heads bald, raising RM15,000 for their efforts, while another RM1,500 came from timber company Mafrica Corporation.
