SPORADIC and unaligned developments in random pockets of land in Pulau Betong, Penang, are of concern to incumbent assemblyman Datuk Dr Muhammad Farid Saad.

He said random growth was taking place in many areas including Kampung Jalan Baru and Kampung Terang as well as within Pondok Upeh.
