JOHOR BARU: The Customs Department is targeting 300 companies for its Malaysia GST Compliance Assurance Programme (MyGCAP) by the year-end, as business owners wait anxiously to enjoy benefits such as fast tax refunds.
Under MyGCAP, Customs director-general Datuk Seri Subromaniam Tholasy said companies need to hire external tax firms, trained by the Customs Department, to conduct audits on GST.
