Tan dotting the lion heads to awaken the lions during the lion dance blessing ceremony at MU headquarters at 86, Lebuh Melaka, Penang.

AUSPICIOUS vibes were ushered into the Malaysian United Party headquarters in Penang with an energetic performance by a glittering pair of silver and red lions.

Party president Tan Gin Theam began the ceremony by dotting each lion on their eyes, ears, nose, mouth and down the length of the body with red paint as a symbol of giving it life.
