Peculiar to approve high-density project on A&W land

Tan wants local leaders to explain how they came up with the 1:8 plot ratio for the development to take place at the A&W site.

PETALING Jaya Utara MCA chairman Tan Gim Tuan (pic) is questioning the legality of the approved 1:8 plot ratio for a development along Lorong Sultan, Petaling Jaya, and is calling for a review.

The upcoming development, to be constructed at the spot formerly occupied by the iconic A&W restaurant, will see a 20-storey office tower being built on the 0.4ha land.
