‘Landowner must help uplift Kampung Manis’

THE Penang Government is turning to the landowner of Kampung Manis, Prai, for help to raise the quality of life in the ‘slum village’ just 1.5km from the Butterworth ferry terminal.

Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy said he would write to Railway Asset Corporation (RAC) and propose a joint venture development.
