MIRI: A big chunk of a deep slope on top of the historic Canada Hill overlooking Miri city collapsed due to soil movement caused by heavy rain.

This follows slope erosion at Kampung Lereng Bukit, a village on the foothill three days ago, which saw several houses and roads caving in.
