davIT BRILLIANCE: UTAR Computer Science student Lai Wing Khang (centre) smiling after securing one of the top three spots in the Cisco Networking Academy NetRiders CCNA Competition 2017, which was held at the Mersing Polytechnic in Johor on Aug 23.Cisco NetRiders competition provides students with a hands-on practice and experience in a competitive environment, a chance to test their skills and recognise their weaknesses, showcase their knowledge, and create interactive networking skills as well as new friendships across the world.This year, the annual competition drew over 924 participants from roughly 20 institutions across Malaysia.Lai was announced as second runner-up, winning a championship hoodie, headset and a certificate of achievement.ENDS
