TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government, in collaboration with the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), will assess trees along the main roads and recreational areas in the state’s main roads before chopping them.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said the evaluation of the trees would take into consideration their benefits to the environment and public safety.
