RM1mil boost for anti-poverty project

MAH SING Foundation donated RM1mil to Badan Amal Kasih Ibu Wilayah Persekutuan (BAKIWP), the welfare arm of the Federal Territories Ministry, in support of its Projek Baiti Jannati programme which aims to elevate the living standards of the disadvantaged.

Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor accepted the contribution from Mah Sing Group managing director Tan Sri Datuk Leong Hoy Kum, witnessed by BAKIWP president Datin Seri Anggraini Sentiyaki, at a simple ceremony at the ministry.
