Melaka CM plans to open public-speaking club to help his staff become more eloquent

MELAKA: Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron wants to introduce his officers to Toastmaster, a global club comprising members who deliver public speeches in English.

Toastmaster’s International’s Melaka chapter Division A director Mak Chee Kin said Idris has suggested a club to be set up at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to help his subordinates speak more eloquently in English as well as build their self-confidence.
