GOPENG is not just a town for retirees and has potential to develop further as a tourism and agricultural hub.

Teja assemblyman Ng Shy Ching said other than white water rafting and hiking trails, other popular attractions in Gopeng include the Gaharu Tea Valley as well as Rafflesia and Rajah Brooke butterflies.
