Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz learnt firsthand last week about the significance of the Battle of Kampar during World War II.

Nazri said, while he had heard of the famous battle in 1941 in what was then Malaya, a visit to the site last Friday to withness a reenactment of the battle brought history to life for him.
