Padi farmers in Kedah and Perlis owe it to club’s semi-aerobic cultivation method

THE semi-aerobic cultivation is the way to go for some 300 padi farmers in Kedah and Perlis who are now harvesting yield above the national average and about three folds more than before.

Their yield is an average of eight tonnes per hectare compared to the conventional method where the national average yield is about 3.9 tonnes per hectare.
