INNO Asia Distribution Sdn Bhd has joined the ranks of product sponsors for the Penang Starwalk 2017, giving away products worth about RM16,000.
Participants of the walk can look forward to receiving 200 tubs of Kay Kay All Plant Sports Protein Powder.
“The walk is suitable for our brand, because we want to promote a healthy lifestyle and create awareness on the product, seeing as it is just introduced into the market at the beginning of this year.
“A lot of people are more health-conscious now, and we noticed more are taking plant-based food.
“As this product is also plant-based, we want to introduce healthy and clean eating through our protein powder which is free from animal protein,” explained Inno Asia national sales manager David Tay.
The 400g protein powder, according to him, has key ingredients such as soy protein as well as vegetable powders, vitamins and minerals.
“The drink is suitable for sportsmen or those who like to exercise as this supports their daily workout on top of their balanced diet.
“Then there is the added L-Carnitine which helps to burn fat faster.
“This protein also helps tone the muscles,” revealed Tay.
Inno Asia Distribution is the sole distributor for the plant protein powder in Malaysia.
The 7km non-competitive Penang Starwalk 2017 will be flagged off from Penang Gurney Paragon at 7am on Sept 10.
Registration for the event is closed.
The event is jointly organised by Star Media Group and the Penang Amateur Athletic Association.
The Platinum sponsors for the walk are YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (YES) & Naza Kia, while the Silver sponsors are Eastern & Oriental Bhd & F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd.
The event’s venue provider is Penang Gurney Paragon.
