Sewage water overflowing in Sg Pelek

The black spots are the traces of sewage water that overflows from the manhole to the drains in Pantai Sepang Putra when it rains.

Pantai Sepang Putra, Sungai Pelek, residents have had to contend with a disgusting problem. Whenever it rains, there is a backflow of sewage water to their toilet bowls, which then floods their bathrooms.

Louis Reginald Jeremiah, 73, said the sewage water also overflows from the manholes onto the roads and into the drains outside their homes.
