SMJK Chan Wa II has become the first school in the Rasah parliamentary constituency to reap the benefits of a fertigation system – a method which promotes the growing of nutritious greens.

The pilot project, mooted by MCA Youth Legal Bureau head Ng Kian Nam, allows students to better understand how the system works and the benefits of growing greens using less chemicals and fertilisers.
