ILLEGAL dumping is a never-ending problem in the country and Ipoh is no exception.

All it takes is for one person to dump their rubbish at a random spot and almost instantaneously, it becomes a permanent dumpsite. Mechanic Albert Lee, who faces the misfortune of having an illegal dumpsite opposite his workshop in Bercham, said no matter how many times the Ipoh City Council clears up such dumpsites, the rubbish soon reappears.
