PETALING Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is taking steps to ensure smooth rubbish collection continues in the city following the termination of the Shah Alam Transfer Station operator’s contract.
Petaling Jaya mayor Datuk Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain said MBPJ had instructed its contractors to transport the waste directly to the Jeram landfill in Kuala Selangor.
