WE celebrated Sarawak Day last Saturday, commemorating 54 years since achieving self-rule from the British.
This is the second year July 22 has been observed as a public holiday, with an official ceremony at the Kuching Waterfront featuring performances and an exhibition depicting Sarawak’s history from colonial times to the present day.
