MIRI: Curtin University Malaysia has received four units of transformers worth about RM1mil from Offshore Industries Sdn Bhd for research and teaching purposes.
The donation by the reputable oil-and-gas and petrochemicals vendor will enable the university’s Engineering and Science Faculty to conduct research on partial discharge, an electrical defect in high-voltage appliances.
