Mobile unit to assist local councils

KUCHING: The Sarawak government has launched a 24-hour service team to help local councils monitor upkeep and response to public complaints in their jurisdictions.

The unit, called LA Serve, will be deployed in six council areas in Padawan and Samarahan in Kuching, Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri for the pilot project.
