Residents want digital billboard at Bangsar intersection removed

The newly installed digital billboard at the Jalan Maarof-Lorong Maarof 5 intersection has the residents up in arms over its noise and light pollution.

BUKIT Bandaraya residents in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, are having sleepless nights after a big digital billboard was erected on top of the commercialised corner lot bungalow at the Jalan Maarof-Lorong Maarof 5 intersection.

Bukit Bandaraya Residents Association (BBRA) adviser Datuk M. Ali, who first noticed the billboard on July 9, said the motor from the billboard was so noisy that one could hear it 100m away, round-the-clock.
