Company gives zakat funds to patients of two hospitals

UEM Edgenta Berhad has given out RM100,000 from its Zakat Fund to Penang Hospital meant for the Asnaf (qualified group) patients seeking medical treatment at the hospital.

Its managing director and chief executive officer Azmir Merican said the company also gave a similar amount to Asnaf patients of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.
