Upgrading works on the Miri-Marudi road are progressing ahead of schedule.
KUCHING: The upgrading of the 43.2km Miri-Marudi road is progressing ahead of its 30-month schedule commencing Sept 15 last year.
In an update on the project, CMS Roads Sdn Bhd director Datuk Richard Curtis said it remained ahead of schedule despite challenges such as the road’s remote location, bad weather, crop compensation issues and the need to keep the road open to users while works were underway.
